Luthi, Sr. (born 1933), is a retired businessman who served briefly as the 32nd mayor of Greenville, South Carolina. His tenure extended from Veterans Day 1982 to June 13, 1983. He was a member of the Greenville City Council from 1975 to 1982. As Mayor Pro Tem, he succeed to the mayoral office upon the death of Jesse L.
